Sona Papers organises Design Workout-Breakfast Meet

In continuation to its customer connect initiative, Sona Papers recently conducted Design Workout- Breakfast Meet at New Delhi,an informal get-together where upcoming designers get an opportunity to spend some time with leading artists at an informal breakfast session. It is all about art or a bit more personal about the designer’s experiences in their respective field, who have redefined design and creativity worldwide, added Sona’s Spokesperson.

This season of breakfast meet was conducted at new workshop space created by Sona papers at its Okhla office and mentored by a celebrity Designers/Branding and Communication Veteran — Anthony Lopez — CEO, Founder, & Principle Designer of Lopez Design, New Delhi. Known for on complex design and complex situations, Anthony has redefined branding by emphasising its need to be contextual to people, place and local culture. Anthony’s ambidextrous method and execution process has got him many accolades and recognition in the industry.

Anthony spoke on Branding and image management through presentation of his works on Ayushman Bharat Brand Identity, Bihar Museum Brand Identity, Nestaway Brand Identity, and Hercules Cycle identity Redesign.

Visual Communication students from NIFT were also part of this Breakfast meet. The objective of this kind of informal meet is to provide a connect between the leaders and future leaders. Topic of discussion varied from Typography, Modern Art, Branding, Advertising Design, Women in Design, Importance of Design in targeted communication to the struggles the artist has had to face in the field of Design.

“Through this initiative, we are moving one more step closer to the graphic design fraternity and this initiative would enable our young bloods to take hold of this opportunity so they can meet the men and women who have shaped the world of design, branding and communication. After all, there’s nothing like hearing it directly from the horse’s mouth,” said Raju Suneja, Director Marketing, Sona Papers.
