Organised on June 06 & 07, 2019 at its corporate building on Bhagvan Mahaveer Marg in Sector 44 (Gurugram), two days of Open House by Konica Minolta India Business Solutions
Pvt Ltd were a strategic platform for a cohort of visitors to grab new business opportunity created by two KM machines demonstrated during the event—MGI JetVarnish 3DS and AccurioPRESS C83hc, a perfect pair to help innovations taking to a new high.

Main objective of our Open House is to gather our existing customers as well as those who are interested in investing in KM machines for a new swing in their business. Here the new swing is that the combination of MGI JetVarnish 3DS and AccurioPRESS C83hc can take commercial printing to another level, surpassing what others usually do in photo album printing,” said Vijay Kamat, Product Manager IP & IP Marketing Division, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt Ltd.

AccurioPRESS C83hc is a high chroma print system, which takes print capabilities and print efficiencies to a next level. The digital press is capable to produce high impact vivid colour with a production toner print engine, designed to integrate efficiently with RGB files and workflow providing ease of use while producing printed output that allows colours that pop from the page, whilst giving life like prints that reflect shades and detail in brilliant colour.

On other side, MGI JetVarnish 3DS helps commercial print shops attract new prospects and realise lucrative market opportunities by providing customers with ultra-precise spot coating. The machine can coat up to 3,000 sheets/hr and handle sizes from 8.5inchx11inch to 14.33×40.15 inch. “MGI JetVarnish 3DS is ideal partner for both digital and offset presses. There is no requirement for expensive, time-consuming plates, screens or setups required beyond creating a graphic description file (5th layer mask). The machine is equipped with KM’s Drop-on-Demand technology using ultra-precise piezoelectric printheads to produce extremely thin lines (0.5mm) as well as wide uniform solid areas,” mentioned Vijay.

He further explained that MGI JetVarnish 3DS creates ‘magic’ in UV spot varnishing on highly textured photo prints churned on AccurioPRESS C83hc. The wedding photo album market is quite vibrant and growing. The Open House redefined the way photo albums are produced using the two highly versatile and innovative KM machines. The sample gallery at the event revealed graphics that wowed every visitor and instilled them to grab the new business they could generate using the two KM machines.

The samples at the gallery were produced by some of the eminent KM customers who have already adopted MGI JetVarnish 3DS machine and AccurioPRESS C83hc press. Among them was Printology Xperts from New Delhi. The proud MGI user showcased a gallery full of print samples, such as wedding photos, cards, packaging items, Braille letters, and many others.

“Most of the visitors at the Open House show interest in the discounted scheme we announced during the event. We reduced around 20 percent in total cost of the two machines if they sealed their deals during the event,” mentioned Vijay, adding that this is first-of-its-kind offer they announced at an Open House. He also informed that the same kind of Open House will continue in other cities across the country.

“I’m a long-term customer of Konica Minolta. It’s has been more than a decade since I adopted Konica Minolta machines for my commercial printing business. I’m quite excited about the new possibilities of MGI JetVarnish 3DS machine and AccurioPRESS C83hc press. This will surely give a new boost to our business,” said Tilak Singh of Tilak Digital Colour Lab from Faridabad. Like Tilak, a host of visitors, who are predominantly owners of photo labs, thronged the Open House.
