As the successor to the ever-popular RICOH Pro C5300S, the all-new RICOH Pro C5400S was introduced by Minosha Print Solutions at East India Print & Pack 2025, held from November 28–30 in Kolkata. This new and upgraded RICOH engine is specifically designed for reprographic shops and other print service providers, particularly in the tier-II, III, and IV markets, whose focus is on low- to mid-volume print production.

What sets Minosha apart from other distributors is its work culture—it delivers not just machines and solutions, but also consistent and unrivalled post-sales service.

Minosha Print Solutions has been an authorized distributor of RICOH in India for over three decades, operating across the country through seven offices. What sets Minosha apart from other distributors is its work culture—it delivers not just machines and solutions, but also consistent and unrivalled post-sales service. RICOH digital presses in the company’s product portfolio are constantly upgraded in line with the evolving needs of customers engaged in varying business volumes and segments. The newly introduced RICOH Pro C5400S is part of this continuous upgrade process.

Speaking about the new RICOH Pro C5400S, Prasanna Rajagopalan, National Business Manager – Production Printing, Minosha Print Solutions Pvt Ltd, says, “This new RICOH engine is suitable for reprographic shops in the tier-II, III, and IV markets. These shops require low- to mid-volume digital production presses that are capable of handling around 20,000 to 25,000 sheets per month, or 1,000 to 1,500 sheets per day.” He adds, “In response to this requirement, we have introduced the RICOH Pro C5400S. It is an advanced model upgraded from its predecessor, the RICOH Pro C5300S.”

Prasanna further explains, “Compared to its predecessor, the RICOH Pro C5400S has several technical enhancements. Major updates have been made to the feeder, controller, and service aspects, making the new engine more user-friendly and productive. This newly introduced entry-level digital colour production press is also an ideal option for commercial print shops looking to replace refurbished machines with a brand-new system. Additionally, it allows them to avoid large investments they may not be prepared to make immediately.”

The new and upgraded RICOH Pro C5400S adapts seamlessly to each user’s unique requirements and workflows. A true all-rounder, the engine offers enhanced image quality, flexible media handling, and exceptional usability. With adaptable features, tailored options, and advanced capabilities, the RICOH Pro C5400S is thoughtfully designed for optimal performance. Furthermore, this newly upgraded engine uses resources efficiently and incorporates sustainable materials to help reduce environmental impact.

Designed for print, copy (standard), and facsimile (optional) functions, the RICOH Pro C5400S operates at speeds of up to 65 ppm (pages per minute). It offers excellent media flexibility, supporting a wide range of lightweight and heavyweight stocks up to 360 gsm in duplex mode. Prasanna notes that the RICOH Pro C5400S enables print shops to expand their application range, including the production of large posters that they may not have produced earlier, as the engine can print banner paper up to 1,300 mm and sizes up to 13” × 19.2”.

“Moreover, the RICOH Pro C5400S is also an ideal engine for reprographic shops located near educational institutions, enabling them to cater both monochrome and colour print requirements for students, academicians, and others,” Prasanna adds. He further states that Minosha Print Solutions looks forward to introducing more cutting-edge models and upgraded technologies in the future to meet the evolving needs of customers across all levels and diverse domains.
