Tamil Nadu-based Santa Creative has just started its digital printing for catering commercial graphics and finished products following the installation of a brand new Canon imagePRESS V700 digital colour production press. “With a deep understanding of what our clients want, we have eventually included digital printing in business. This new Canon digital colour production press is fully packed with all advanced features and capabilities which we had been looking for,” mentions Antony S of Santa Creative.
Built compact in a small footprint for oversized production of high-end and textured graphics, iPR V700 is capable to cater graphic prints in the resolution of 2400×2400 dpi. It compatibly prints on wide varieties of thin and thick stocks starting from 52 gsm up to 350 gsm, at an unprecedented speed of 70 A4 ppm (pages per minute).
Antony says that the iPR V700’s capability to handle the thick media up to 350 gsm has opened up a new opportunity for them to work for applications like posters and such graphics which any other print shop in Thisayanvilai town could ever produce. Unconventional media which iPR V700 efficiently handles are covers, envelopes, synthetics, and long sheets up to 1300 mm in length.
