JN Arora joins hands with AGFA Graphics

Ever expanding product portfolio of JN Arora Group has gained a new ground as the group has tied up with AGFA Graphics to distribute the latter’s range of products in the Northern and Eastern Indian markets. Now, the range of AGFA machines, which JN Arora is assigned for distributorship, includes ANNAPURNA as well as others including Jeti MIRA, TAURO & TITAN series with UV inkjet systems. The range includes hybrid, roll-to-roll printers and UV flatbeds. In addition, the portfolio also consists of ACORTA, an automatic cutting and finishing system.

“AGFA Graphics being a widely recognised brand for quality and consistency in the graphic art industry, our partnership with the company is a fresh opportunity for PSPs, sign-making firms in India to avail the(AGFA) machines at ease,” said Vimlesh Arora, MD, JN Arora & Co Pvt Ltd. He added that AGFA machines are stable, cost-effective and highly efficient; a lot can be done with the machines in an unconventional way in both indoor and outdoor arenas. Particularly those in the in-store domain, according to Vimlesh, are whom they would like to give a new boost in business with the AGFA machines.

Aashish Arora from JN Arora has his take on the cost-effectiveness of AGFA Graphics machines, “My idea is AGFA systems are always in value proposition when we talk about cost-effectiveness, because the machines are highly automated and capable to cater high print quality in less power consumption and manpower with very high production rates.” He further mentioned that JN Arora being on the mission, signage players looking for AGFA machines may find their pursuit easier than ever. In addition to the machines, Asanti software from AGFA Graphics will also be part of the portfolio.

JN Arora has a team of well-trained service engineers as well as marketing squad to take care of the AGFA machines in the pre and post-sale periods. According to Aashish, their dealership started in the northern and eastern Indian regions. Hunkeler Innovationdays to highlight new advancements in high performance digital printing

From February 20-23, Lucerne, Switzerland, Hunkeler will hold Innovationdays for the 12th time in at the Messe Lucerne exhibition facility. The premier industry event in high performance digital printing, Innovationdays will feature groundbreaking innovations, exciting world debuts, and a full range of practical solutions. As always, the 2017 edition of the Hunkeler Innovationdays will see top subject matter experts from more than 80 industry leaders converge on Lucerne in a showcase of the latest products and cutting-edge technologies. Innovationdays strives to bring clarity to current trends and the newest developments, as well as how these interplay in real world production environments. Because of these distinctive emphases, the event fosters unique opportunities for visitors to discover, learn, and share in an unparalleled setting.

Nearly 6,000 visitors from over 50 nations traveled to Lucerne for Innovationdays 2015, and the 2017 event is expected to build on that success and set new attendance records. Majority of SMBs to turn to paper-free solutions

More than 80 percent of small/mid-size businesses (SMBs) want to cut paper out of the way they invoice, report financials, manage legal and human resource forms, and handle other time consuming processes, according to a Xerox survey.

The survey of more than 1,000 companies in the United States, United Kingdom, France and Germany shows respondents expect to make the change during the next 12 months.

Nearly half (46 percent) of respondents confirmed that a significant amount of time is wasted on paper-intensive processes and 6 out of 10 view this as having a major impact on their bottom line. SMBs in Germany (51 percent) and the United States (50 percent) cited they spend the most time, followed by the United Kingdom (43 percent) and France (37 percent).

As SMBs prepare to digitize their paper processes, most will turn to experts for recommendations since only 1 in 5 respondents are aware of existing paper-free solutions in the market. The study shows that 47 percent will go to an office equipment dealer, 1 out of 4 will look to their IT reseller and 37 percent will turn to the product manufacturer.

“Though this survey did not cover India as a region but we are seeing a similar trend emerge amongst the SMBs here. Not just businesses but the Indian government has made digitization a priority for the nation through their Digital India initiative.” said Balaji Rajagopalan, executive director- Technology, Channels & International Distributor Operations, Xerox India.

Balaji further added, “This year, we have strengthened our focus on SMB business segment with the launch of Xerox Docucentre SC2020 and ConnectKey enabled iSeries products besides continuing to extend our Managed Print Services to SMBs through our channel partners.”

In addition to focusing on digitization and automation, SMBs are also exploring other areas to improve productivity, including Managed Print Services (MPS), mobility and security.

MPS: Of the SMBs surveyed, 42 percent have an MPS contract, while 40 percent said they plan to put an MPS contract in place within the next year. Sixty-six percent spend more than $1,000 USD each month for printing activities, a significant cost of doing business. Companies with MPS contracts cited reduced costs, decreased paper consumption and improved tracking of print costs as top benefits.

Mobility: By the end of 2017, 23 percent of SMBs believe mobile devices will be completely integrated with their workflow processes. Today, 66 percent of SMBs include mobile printing in their mobility initiatives, while 27 percent plan to within the next year. The main drivers include increasing productivity of mobile workers, meeting customers’ needs for remote information, and improved and faster customer service.

Security: It’s becoming increasingly important for SMBs to secure business-critical information across all technology with the rapid growth of data. As a result, 56 percent of SMBs currently include printers and/or multifunction printers in their security strategies.

Konica Minolta unveils web to print solutions in India

The Indian e-commerce industry is growing at an unprecedented rate, registering a growth of 67 percent in the FY 2015-16, while corporate business orders surged 44 percent in the same period, owing to convenience of online ordering, numerous variety of products and competitive pricing.
