Canon India sells its entire product inventory on display at PrintExpo 2017

Canon and Print Expo have been connected since the inception of the platform. The 9th edition of the exhibition also witnessed active participation from Canon, where the brand reinforced its range of digital offerings by showcasing its new range of products, including imagePRESS C8000VP, imagePRESS C650, imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8585 PRO, imagePROGRAF PRO-540S, imagePROGRAF 771 with MFP L36 scanner. Equipped with industry-defining features and technology, these machines signify exceptional quality, productivity and versatility across a vast variety of applications.

Canon succeeded in selling all of its products on display with an impressive footfall at the stall this year. Visitors were also amazed with an interactive print gallery at the Canon stall, where different applications of the products were brought to life. The gallery provided them the platform to elaborately understand the product techniques and utility, which all the displayed Canon products can offer.

Scodix Ultra Pro with foil enhancement press installed at 4over

Scodix, the leading provider of digital enhancement solutions for the graphic arts industry, has recently installed a Scodix Ultra Pro digital enhancement press to 4over.com, headquartered in Glendale, California.

The feature the company is most excited about is the ability to expand their raised spot-UV coatings in combination with foil finishing options. Xerox showcases its unparalleled digital printing portfolio at PrintExpo 2017

Xerox India showcased a wide range of high-powered digital printing machines at the ninth edition of PrintExpo 2017, scheduled from August 18-20, 2017 at Chennai Trade Centre in Chennai. The presses on display included the newly launched Xerox Versant 180, Xerox Versant 3100 along with the marquee presses Xerox Color C70 Printers.

Kodak celebrated founder day with Print for Good programme

On July 12, Kodak employees celebrated their founder, George Eastman, on his 163rd birthday with an event supporting his philosophy and philanthropy through the company’s Print for Good programme. This global initiative supports communities throughout America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East with book drives, book donations, and the printing of materials and supplies in an effort to increase literacy worldwide through print.

The Rochester event is part of a month-long book drive where Kodak employees and Eastman Business Park tenants have been asked to donate new or gently used books in support of local literacy programs focused on high-needs neighborhoods and schools. This year’s contributions will be donated to the Urban League of Rochester and the Scott Spino Foundation.

Kodak’s Print for Good initiative is an overall effort to drive the print industry in a socially conscious and environmentally friendly way, including the development and use of more sustainable print processes.

New installations by Ricoh

Ricoh India has recently installed Ricoh Pro C9100 at Crazy Offset Printers, Kurukshetra; Bhawna Trading, Delhi; and Koral Graphics Alleppy. The company has also installed Ricoh Pro C7100 at APR Digital Press, Tirupur and Agrawal Press and Process, Ranchi.

The Ricoh Pro C9100 Series can integrate into a hybrid workflow and delivers greater flexibility, superb print quality and higher productivity with faster turnaround performance. It compliment offset printers in terms of quality and provide variable data with greater media handling capability. This makes high volume jobs cost effective and highly efficient whilst introducing personalisation and customisation options simply not available with offset technology.

While, Ricoh Pro C7100 can produce up to 90 colour pages per minute for faster transitions between jobs. Users can use the 5th colour station to offer more types of output at a lower price point and can create images with up to 1200 x 4800 dpi resolution to impress customers. It can print on more media, including traditional paper products, synthetics, envelopes, textures and more.
