RICOH launches two production printers, announces lifetime warranty

The growth of digital printing technology has brought technical advancements, more options, and exciting new features to today’s commercial printing. Today digital printing is more in demand compared to traditional offset lithography because of its ability to offer smaller print. The market research projects that digitally produced book pages will grow rapidly largely driven by more affordable inkjet technologies.

In this backdrop, well-known imaging and IT solutions provider Ricoh India Ltd has launched two new production printers Pro C7100x series and Pro L4160/ L4130. With these launches, Ricoh has pushed the boundaries of innovation in the digital printing industry.

RICOH Pro L4160/L4130 is Ricoh’s first entry into wideformat graphics colour printer designed for providing large display print jobs. With sevencolour printing – CMYK, Orange, Green and White aqueous latex inks, it offers an increased colour capabilities and the ability to print on clear substrates and backlit substrates. It prints a wide range of substrates such as PVC, tarpaulin, synthetic paper, coated-paper, non-coated paper and textiles.

While, RICOH Pro C7100x series is the latest five colour production printer series, with an added station for either white or clear ink. It is ideal for small to medium sized graphic arts businesses, direct mailers, service bureaus, digital printers and centralised reprographic departments, with features designed to support print service providers seeking to increase their current digital printing capacity, enter new markets and explore new digital opportunities The company also announced a unique after sales support package of lifetime warranty plans for its customers. The support package comes with a one, three and five years warranty, further customers have the ease to order toner as per their requirement. The customer also has the option of taking up comprehensive customer care contract which is prevailing in the industry.

According to Manoj Kumar, executive vice president and CEO, Ricoh India, “Last three years have been a dream run for Ricoh in India where we saw a growth of 50 percent CAGR. Production printer has been one of the key growth driver and with the launch of these production printers we expect category to grow over 30 percent every year.
